Strategic Earth Consulting is thrilled to announce a unique opportunity to join our team as a Regional Tribal Consultant. We are seeking up to eight consultants with trusted connections, ancestral ties, and deep relationships with Native Nations throughout California\u2019s coastal regions. This one-year contracted position, with the potential for renewal, invites Tribal experts to collaborate with our team on projects that center and respect the voices of Native Nations in coastal and marine resource decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Regional Tribal Consultant role involves engaging with Tribal leadership and communities across specific California regions to foster meaningful dialogue and synthesize diverse perspectives on coastal resource management. We are looking for consultants with strong community ties in one or more of the following regions*:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each consultant will work closely with Tribal leadership to support the development of culturally relevant guidance frameworks and collaborative engagement practices with state and local agencies. This work will include leading listening sessions, engaging in one-on-one conversations with community leaders, and helping to integrate Native Nations\u2019 insights into strategic project outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strategic Earth\u2019s mission is to create inclusive, community-centered dialogue that informs coastal management. By working with Tribal Consultants who bring personal connections and lived experiences from Native Nations along California’s coast, we can better shape programs that genuinely reflect and respect diverse Tribal perspectives and priorities. Together, we aim to co-create management guidance that honors ancestral ties to these lands and waters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
