Facilitation & Positive Communication Training

Strategic Earth conducted a day-long training with  Ocean Science Trust (OST) staff to build capacity and effective skills-based techniques in meeting preparation and planning. Staff developed their ability to guide and support group processes to ensure effective participation, collective understanding, open dialogue, and shared responsibilities for meeting outcomes. Strategies to anticipate, manage, and address conflict – with a focus on relationship building – was also a focus of the training. Pre/post survey results suggested that staff walked away from the training feeling more confident and proficient in navigating challenging conversations and modeling positive communication.
