Impacts of Harmful Algal Blooms on California Fisheries
Strategic Earth provided project coordination, communications, and facilitation support to assist Ocean Science Trust to inform and distribute scientific guidance on harmful algal blooms (HABs) specific to the Dungeness and rock crab fisheries. Working in partnership with the Ocean Protection Council Science Advisory Team and state agencies, together with fishing industry leaders, Ocean Science Trust developed a frequently asked questions (FAQs) document to help decision-makers, managers, and industry members better understand, address, respond to, and predict HAB events in California.
