COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

Strategic Earth invites you to a new Community of Practice – a unique exploration into professional growth, collaborative learning, and meaningful connections. Join us in 2024 for four virtual sessions to gather with others leading heart-centered work and committed to building trusting relationships with community.

Our goal is twofold: to provide a space for compassionate individuals who are passionate about community to gather and learn together, and to further collaborate with the brightest and kindest minds Strategic Earth has the privilege to partner with day to day.

We invite you to bring a beginner’s mindset and join us for each interactive session as we co-create a community of practice rooted in Appreciative Inquiry, Non-violent Communications, Daring Leadership, and other modalities.

Upcoming Sessions

Suggested Topic: Building Confidence During Challenging Conversations

Suggested Topic: Best Practices to Connect With Community

Our CoP will have the opportunity to engage with specific audiences or communities we may find challenging to build relationships and trust with. We will learn more about best practices and thoughtful approaches to building meaningful connections and collaborations. While still to be determined, this conversation could involve a panel or small group discussions with community leaders. Conversations will be rooted in Appreciative Inquiry and other practices to help support constructive and solutions-oriented dialogue.

Suggested Topic: Building Connection Through Appreciative Inquiry

Developing out of the September session, we will continue exploring the use of Appreciative Inquiry to build connections across diverse points of view. Our CoP will share case studies demonstrating how we apply principles from this modality — and others — to our daily work with clients, partners, and within our teams. We will explore and evaluate how this approach can strengthen connections.

In our inaugural session, we co-created shared goals and agreements for our CoP. Drawing from best practices and tools like Brené Brown’s BRAVING Inventory, we established a healthy group dynamic to support a safe and collaborative framework for our CoP and beyond.
