South Coast Physical Oceanographic Conditions
Strategic Earth is providing scientific project coordination, research, and writing services to support California Ocean Science Trust develop two reporting products to document physical oceanographic conditions during the South Coast baseline period (2012-2017). These products will be informed by information collected from the Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System (SCCOOS), California-Nevada Applications Program (CNAP), and California Cooperative Oceanic Fisheries Investigations (CalCOFI) databases, as well as other research resources. Final products will help inform the State of the California South Coast report and act as a resource to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife as it conducts the 5-year management review of South Coast marine protected areas.
