CLIENT NEED

Nauru Ocean Resources Incorporated (NORI) is in the initial phase of exploring the feasibility of collecting deepsea polymetallic nodules as a source of valuable metals for high-technology industries. The NORI-D project is required before NORI can apply for a commercial exploitation contract. Given the complexity and social sensitivity of this topic, NORI commits to an integrated communications plan that will support transparent information sharing with stakeholders.

STRATEGY

Strategic Earth will support NORI in the design of a new project website and initial webinar to introduce the NORI-D project goals, objectives, phases, partners, and research currently underway to the global stakeholder community. Strategic Earth will work with NORI to ensure a seamless flow of information to stakeholders that is accessible and relevant to priority questions and topics of interest. Our team will help NORI to establish open lines of communication with the stakeholder community.

KEY RESULTS & OUTCOMES

Stakeholders gain a foundational understanding of the NORI-D project and are able to stay informed of updates as the project progresses. NORI provides the stakeholder community with the information necessary to evaluate the project and inform decision-making processes.
