South Coast Physical Oceanographic Conditions

Strategic Earth provided scientific project coordination, research, and writing services to support California Ocean Science Trust in developing two reporting products to document physical oceanographic conditions during the South Coast baseline period (2012-2017). These products were informed by information collected from the Southern California Coastal Ocean Observing System (SCCOOS), California-Nevada Applications Program (CNAP), and California Cooperative Oceanic Fisheries Investigations (CalCOFI) databases, as well as other research resources. Final products helped inform the State of the California South Coast report and acted as a resource to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife as it conducted the 5-year management review of South Coast marine protected areas.
