Project Management for the Ocean Conservancy focused on Fisheries Modeling Development
CLIENT NEED
Strategic Earth is supporting the Poseidon Project Team, composed of fishery scientists and modelers from the Ocean Conservancy, Oxford, Arizona State University, and the University of Wisconsin with project management services to advance the development of a bioeconomic model of Eastern Pacific Tropical Tuna fisheries for evaluating the performance of management options in achieving long-term sustainability.
STRATEGY
Strategic Earth provides facilitation and project management support for the Project Team to meet key deadlines and track core deliverables until completion. With an eye toward target audience perceptions and information accessibility, our team is also providing guidance on key messaging, framing, and flow for key external meetings. Our team’s thoughtful approach integrates our expertise in strategic project management, neutral facilitation, positive communications, and empathic relationship-building to support the Ocean Conservancy in the next phase of this multi-year project.
KEY RESULTS AND OUTCOMES
Strategic Earth facilitates forward-moving progress in partnership with the Poseidon Project Team through a management lens emphasizing individual and team support and overall time management. Our team will strategically use one-on-one discussions to identify project areas in need of attention to help advance deliverables as well as document key outcomes and next steps after each Project Team call. Preparation support for external partner meetings will be achieved by reviewing and providing feedback on presentation framing, talking points, and other communication materials and general work products.
